What is a dream ?

It’s an idea … A vision … A thought or sensation … It’s an image or visionary creation … It’s a condition or achievement that is longed for … It‘s our wishes, hopes and desires for the future … It’s a claim of what we want.

Why isn’t a dream like a goal ?

It can be, when we turn our dreams into personal commitments.

Joel Osteens Message, March 25

I had some one tell me, they missed it when I didn't post Joel Osteens message.

His funny. Adam says, why did you make Eve so beautiful. What about her beautiful hair. Her beautiful shape. God said, so you would love her. Adam said, why did you make her so dumb. God said, so she would love you.

Message: Going after the prodigals (those lost; haven‘t been around). People use to be excited about serving God, but some how, now, they’ve fallen off the path. Maybe they’ve been through tuff times; Lost their sense of purpose. Don’t condemn them, just encourage them.
...
We need to go after the prodigals. We need to be pro-active to find out why they have fallen off the path. Call them, check on them. We have a responsibility to bring them back. Say, we miss you, we need you, and we love you. When people know you care, this is what brings prodigals back. Your phone call could be the turning point. Give a little time, a little of your energy. We may not be able to help everyone, but we can help someone. It can light a fire, if you let them know you care.
Our most importance in life, is not our accomplishments, it’s helping other people. Restore others, help them get back on the path. When you reach out to one of God’s children, there’s nothing God won’t do for you. Help lift others out of despair. Invite them to dinner. Make sacrifices for them. Notice when others are discouraged. Reach out to them, call them. Let people know they are important.

Who are we missing, that is not around.

He had a dog, and if you said “sick-um”, he would run after the squirrel, even if he didn’t 1st see the squirrel. Do this with friends who are missing, “sick-um”. Check on them.

When people know they are missed, it makes what they are going through, easier. It make take several times to get through to them. You’re never wasting time, going after the prodigals. Make an effort to help someone. Galatians, 6:1 - you are to gently restore/help others.

Sew the seed. We love you. We miss you. We need you.
Some people think they are suppose to scare the “hell” out of people. The holy spirit is to convict, not you.

Go after the prodigals. All they need is one phone call. To let them know you’re concerned. Remember, “sick-um”. Find out where they are.

Ever have problems relating to your partner, co-worker, customers ? It may be as simple is learning your style, and others, best way of communication.

Did you know, knowing whether you or your partner is an audio, visual, or kinesthetic type person, can not only help you understand yourself better, it can help you understand your partner more, to include, how to relate to and with them. This works with friends, co-workers, customers, etc.

Self Motivation

At times, self motivation can be trying. With all of life stresses and continuous road blocks, we can often find ourselves overwhelmed.  Whether it be cleaning the garage, stop smoking, find a new job, stop nail biting, get over the fear of flying, learn to get along with your spouse, and so forth.

Here's the short cut to self motivation.  Self motivation first begins with a little self-talk of, “it’s time to get the needed job done”. The next step is to stop blaming everyone else for the task continuing to lay dormant.  The third step, is committing to your self-talk. The fourth step, is making a list of pros, of how this finished task will change your life, your situation, or make life easier on and for you and/or your family. The fourth step is making a list of how you will get there. The fifth step, is setting yourself a time limit on getting the task done.  The sixth step, is to begin the first task on your list towards reaching your goal.

If, during your journey, you slip or fall behind, don't scold and beat yourself up.  Recognize what is happening, and move again, towards your goal, that very moment.  Don't put off till tomorrow, cause tomorrow never comes.  But instead, re-commit that moment, and move forward.

Remember, it's all about your own personal mind-set.   And it's you that you must change, if you want to see results.  Remember, it takes 30 days to make a new way of life a habit.

If you feel you need a little more push or need someone that will make you responsible in meeting your goals within a resonable time, there's nothing wrong with reaching out to a life coach or hypnotist !  This can actually speed up the process, especially if you're needing a "jump start".
