Different People Come Into Our Lives For A Reason – Don’t cut yourself or others short, in your value, to those who cross your path !

You’ve heard the saying, “Everything happens for a reason”.  It’s the same with meeting different folks that pass through your path.  We meet and encounter most every person, for a reason.

Four basic reasons come to mind, as to why folks come into our lives.

A.     Often, the reason is truly obvious; the reason is for you, right at this moment.  Maybe you run across someone who bakes cakes, and you had forgotten to order that birthday cake for your oldest child.  What a life savor !

However, there are many times, the reason is not obvious at all. Matter of fact, it could be years before you discover the reason, or just maybe, the actual reasoning never unfolds. Till then, just cherish that this friend who was brought into your life, because it is for a reason !

B. More than just often, folks are bought into your life for the benefit of another person in your life. You may have met this person, because someone you know, needed to meet this person. Again, you may learn this right away, or maybe it’s not ment to take place, till years down the road.

One concept comes to mind, “networking”.  Maybe you met and know someone through your networking, who makes bank mortgage, and down the road, your cousin is buying a house and doesn’t even know how to begin knowing how to finance their new home.

C.     Sometimes folks are brought into our lives, for lesson purposes.  This person could be a great role model or even a poor one, yet there may be lessons you are to learn from this person.

For example, maybe someone comes into your life who either, currently has cancer or has battled with cancer.  And you discover through this person, strength, that you could use learning for your life !  Or maybe you meet someone who mistreats their spouse, and it’s ment for you to learn more, the value of your own spouse.

D.     Another valuable, yet often, unknown reason, that people come into our lives, is because they need to know us !  What we bring to the table for them.  What we give to them, that inspires their life ! 

It’s true, if you are the cake baker, like in the example above, you know why this person was brought into your life.  Or maybe you are the person with cancer, who has a great attitude, which can be an inspiration for many !

What I really want to bring home to You more, is this 4^th concept ! 

None of us know, when someone has been brought into our life, for the benefit of your presence here for that other person.  They may be here for, the life lessons that you don’t even realize, that you can and will be offering to this person; whether it be things you’ve personally gone through or education you have received ! 

My real point here is, we were all put on this earth, not at all, just for the benefit of ourselves or just our immediate family.  There are many folks who need he attributes we were given, in helping others ! 

It could be as simple as being a strong shoulder or open ear !  Or maybe you are here for a tuff boss or customers, where you are the best person for handling their personality !  Maybe someone you encounter, just needs to see strengths that others hold !  Maybe there are folks that have a low self esteem or who may be suicidal, and you are just that person, who will change their life (without you ever knowing it).

Don’t cut yourself short in your value to others; more importantly, don’t cut others short in receiving your value. 

Next time someone invites you, to join them for a function, whether it be at church, at a networking meeting, at a party, a family or class reunion … This might be that very time, that your presence was ment to be, for the benefit in helping a person who crosses your path at this event; or maybe even the person who invited you !

It’s true, our lives are busy, and we can hardly keep up with what we need to get done !  But remember, it could be YOU who needed THEM (and don’t know it) !  It could be YOU that saves or makes an impression on their life (and never know it).

Everyone is here in folks life for a purpose.  It may never be obvious at all.  Take the time, to be conscious, in thinking about why each person you meet, could have a reason in crossing your path !  Cause there is a reason !  And that reason could be YOU FOR THEM ! 

You've also heard, it's better to give than receive ? This actually includes, the "sharing of yourself" with others !

Consciously choose to remember, that you are here, in the lives of others, for a purpose.  And try to remember NOT to deprive folks of having you in their life !   Next time you don't want to get up off the couch and get out, push yourself; follow that plan that may be ment for you to fulfil !
